Kirk Thompson, OD
Dr. Thompson joined the clinical staff at Northwest Eye Surgeons in July of 2022. Kirk was the founder of Angeles Vision Clinic where he was proud to celebrate 30 years practicing full scope optometry before joining NWES. His areas of special interest include the medical management of glaucoma, uveitis and neurology. Dr. Thompson is board certified by the American Board of Optometry. He enjoys seeking to increase his knowledge base, is dedicated to continuing education, and is committed to his patients, doing everything possible to keep their eyes healthy and seeing well. In addition, he is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the Washington Association of Optometric Physicians, and a former president of the Peninsula Optometric Society. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys skiing, backpacking and photography. He and his wife Maureen have four children and 10 grandchildren.

Previously, Dr. Thompson managed Angeles Vision Clinic where he focused primarily on medical optometric care with a special interest in glaucoma, uveitis and neurology.
