Werner Cadera, MD
Werner Cadera, MD, joined Northwest Eye Surgeons in 1992. He is a specialist in pediatric ophthalmology, and strabismus surgery at our Seattle-Northgate office. Dr. Cadera is board certified both in the US and abroad as a Fellow with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He is also a Diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology. He loves the Northwest and enjoys hiking, fishing and the theatre.

Previous Experience
In 1983, Dr. Cadera joined the faculty of the University of Western Ontario where he participated in numerous research projects focused on the cause and treatment of strabismus. He has traveled extensively to third world countries with Project ORBIS. He has been active in teaching and research, and has published and lectured in many parts of the world.
